Music and Theatre
Creativity flows through the walls of the Department of Music and Theatre. With a curriculum that combines theory with practical work, students graduate polished and professional, ready for a lifetime in the performing arts. Supported by dynamic and accomplished professors, students develop technical abilities along with performance skills. They perform with internationally renowned guest artists, compose symphonies in our music technology lab and discover how their talents can enhance the world.
Our lively performing arts culture is a signature feature of our campus. Musicals and dramas are open to all campus students by audition. Productions range from outstanding musicals and operettas to original adaptations of Shakespeare and children’s literature. Past performances include “The Sound of Music,” “The Art of Dining,” and “The Tempest.”
