Erin's Favortie Finance Resources:
- There is a wealth (pardon the pun!) of information available on the websites of the Federal Reserve Banks. A few of my favorites are listed below, but others can be browsed at http://www.newyorkfed.org/
Building Wealth: A Beginner’s Guide to Securing Your Financial Future. Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. PDF of booklet available online at http://dallasfed.org/ca/wealth/pdfs/wealth.pdf

Your Credit Report. Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. PDF available online at http://www.newyorkfed.org/ (Credit Report)
- Consumer Action also has some very nice, unbiased publications. My favorites are their Choosing a Wireless Service Provider, Families and Credit Cards, Credit Cards: What You Need to Know, Get a Car Loan and Understanding Your Credit Score. These can be accessed online via their website at http://www.consumer-action.org/
- The U.S. Department of Labor has many money management publications available. I particularly like their retirement planning materials. My favorites are Top 10 Ways to Prepare for Retirement, Women and Retirement Savings, Savings Fitness: A Guide to Your Money and Your Financial Future and Taking the Mystery Out of Retirement Planning. These are available online at http://www.dol.gov/ebsa
- The Consumer Literacy Consortium put out a brochure entitled 66 Ways to Save Money that gives savings hints in the areas of transportation, insurance, banking/credit, housing and utilities. It’s available online at http://www.66ways.org
