Saint Mother Theodore Guerin Award

This award is sponsored and selected by the SMWC National Alumnae Association Board of Directors and may or may not be awarded each year. The foundress of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, Saint Mother Theodore Guerin, is a role model for today's woman. It is in her honor, and in recognition of the value-based educational legacy she established at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, that we seek to honor women of like purpose, devotion, community vitality and leadership.

Award Criteria

A living graduate of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College who:

• Uses her gifts to excel at what she does and thus reflects God's love an abundant grace in the world.
• Possesses similar purpose, devotion, community vitality and leadership as exhibited by Saint Mother Theodore Guerin.

It is the quality of life and spirit of the candidate, which is the determining factor in being recognized by this award.

Nominations

Nominations will be accepted from alumni and friends of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Each nomination is judged on its own merit and is not held over from year to year.
