Saint Mary-of-the-Woods Alums Recruiting Tomorrow's Students

As the College’s national name recognition grows, so too does the number of requests from prospective students for contact with area alumnae/i.  SMWC admission counselors travel extensively throughout the fall and spring to recruit students, but there are still many important areas, with many quality students who, due to time limitations and travel conflicts, do not benefit from these visits.  They miss the opportunity to learn about the dynamic opportunities waiting for them at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods Alums Recruiting Tomorrow’s Students (SMARTS) was launched in the fall of 2008 with a small group of alums, as a joint project between the alumnae and enrollment management offices.  These alums enjoyed interacting with prospective students in their area, and students were able to personally identify with The College.  Based on the success of this initial phase, SMWC has expanded the program. This presents an exciting opportunity for you.

If you are someone who might be interested in participating in the regional expansion of SMARTS, review the application and consider joining the program. Your time investment will be greatly appreciated by all of us at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and, more importantly, by the many prospective students who will benefit from your efforts.

Many thanks for your thoughtful consideration.  We hope to officially welcome you to SMARTS in the near future.
