MONTGOMERY, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College Golf team finished 3rd at the Oakland City Invitational on Tuesday at Country Oaks Golf Course.
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women’s golf team finished the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Fall Invitational in sixth-place on Sunday.
DANVILLE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College golf team finished 16th at the DePauw Invitational on September 21.
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College golf team took first-place in a battle with Brescia on Sunday at Hulman Links. The Pomeroys shot a 351 to edge out the Bearcats by five strokes.
SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) women’s golf team finished seventh over the weekend in the Hanover Invitational.
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) golf team continued to play well on Sunday after winning the Battle at Bloomington Invitational on Friday. The Pomeroys defeated Oakland City University in a dual match at Hulman Links Golf Course on Sunday.
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) women’s golf team started off the 2014 season strong with a first-place finish at the Battle at Bloomington hosted by Indiana University-East.
SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. – The 2014 Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) women’s golf season has arrived. This season the Pomeroys will take part in seven different events, all of which will present SMWC with both challenges and opportunities.
Montgomery, Ind. – The SMWC golf team concluded their fall 2013 season at the Oakland City Invitational on Tuesday at Country Oaks Golf Course. The team finished in seventh place out of seven teams with a team score of 412. Hanover College won the event with a team score of 337 on the par 72 course.
Marion, Ind. – The SMWC golf team finished eighth out of ten teams at the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational over the weekend. In the two-day tournament which started on Friday, the Pomeroys carded a team score of 781. Marian College was the top team of the invitational, scoring a 644, fifteen strokes better than runner-up Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.)
Terre Haute, Ind. – Led by Sloane Engle's third place finish, the SMWC golf team turned in a fifth place performance at the Rose-Hulman Invitational over the weekend at Rea Park Golf Course. In the two-day match, the Pomeroys shot a team score of 702, one stroke away from a fourth place finish. Hanover College won the Invitational with a 671, four strokes better than host Rose-Hulman.
Lemont, Ill. – The SMWC golf team took third place out of four teams at the Robert Morris Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Pomeroys finished with a team score of 361, twenty strokes shy of Holy Cross College who came in second. Olivet Nazarene University won the tournament scoring a 327.
Terre Haute, Ind. – Led by Morgan Patterson and Kelsey Fuqua, the SMWC golf team captured the three-team match over Brescia University and Oakland City University at Rea Park Golf Course on Saturday afternoon. The Pomeroys won by one stroke, scoring a season-best 340. Brescia came narrowly in second (341) and Oakland City finished in third (364).
Owensboro, Ky. – Morgan Patterson was the top performer of the day, earning medalist honors in a dual match with Brescia University on a hot Tuesday afternoon at Ben Hawes Golf Course. The SMWC golf team was unable to garner the dual match victory, dropping a 363-337 decision to the host Lady Bearcats.
Hanover, Ind. – Even without two of its top players due to sickness, the SMWC golf team traveled to Hanover over the weekend and took part in the Hanover Invitational. Both Kelsey Fuqua and Sloane Engle were unavailable to play due to flulike symptoms. Morgan Patterson, Abbey Abel, and Shelbi French represented SMWC as individuals during the two-day event.
Bloomington, Ind. – The SMWC golf team got off to a great start to the 2013 season as they earned a second place finish at the Indiana University-East Invitational on Thursday afternoon. IU-East was the host school for the event held at the Indiana University Golf Course in Bloomington.
