Common Questions

Why do I need to create an account?

Our admission system requires a username and password to allow you to log into your application in the future.  This allows you to start your application right away and complete supporting material sections (such as your personal essay and résumé) at a later point. 

I'm having trouble logging into my application account.

Be sure you are logging into the system with this web address
https://apply.smwc.edu/apply/authentication.do?cmd=login-check

If you have forgotten your password or cannot get it to work, use the "Forgot your username or password?" function to reset it.

I'm having trouble uploading my personal essay or resumé

If you can't upload or copy documents into the application system, send them directly to us by email: smwcadms@smwc.edu.  Send materials as a Word or PDF document.  Be sure to use a clear subject line and have your contact information in the email.
