Residence Life
Life in Le Fer Hall is quite an experience! This historic residence hall, completed in 1923, is home for all SMWC students living on campus. Le Fer Hall was named after two of Saint Mother Theodore’s companions and it reflects a greater French influence in its Renaissance style.

Unlike a lot of other schools, our residence hall rooms are spacious with large windows, ceiling fans and hardwood floors. Over 75 percent of our rooms have a connecting bath. Wireless internet access is available in all rooms.
Le Fer is not just resident and class rooms. You will also find:
- newly-remodeled exercise center
- student center with two flat-screen TV's, lounge and games
- Sacred Heart Chapel
- ballroom
- faculty and administrative offices
- additional lounges
- kitchens on the main and resident floors
- laundry facilities
- mail facilities
- and your morning breakfast.
So much of what you will need as a student here at SMWC is located in the very same building where you will live. You will have your your best friends and classmates right next door. Some of your classes will only be a floor or two away. A great deal of student activities are organized in Le Fer such as the Porch Dance, mechanical bull-riding, Spring Bash, visiting musicians and traveling comedians whose shows are so great they are invited back year after year.
Some of your best memories are created in Le Fer Hall.
