Library Facilities

The four floors of the Library, (opened in 1964) contain 64,000 square feet of floor space with a planned book capacity of 250,000. At present, the Library holds approximately 150,000 volumes. Areas within the Library that house special collections are:

  • Law Library
  • Community Education Center
  • Curriculum Media Center
  • Catholic Americana Room (See below)
  • Presidents' Room, housing the rare books
  • Earth Literacy Office
  • Center for Women in Small Business

The Library maintains several rooms for meetings and classes:

  • Two Seminar Rooms
  • Alumnae Board Room
  • Faculty Lounge with an adjacent kitchenette
  • Audio-Visual Room
