Susan Dolle, Director of Grants Development, holds a M.S. in Communication Studies from Indiana State University and a B.A. in English/Secondary Education from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Specialized training in grant administration includes the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) Fundamentals and Sponsored Program Administration II.

Dolle has served SMWC as Director of Grants Development in the Office of Advancement and currently in the Office of External Relations. She oversees the full spectrum of research administration for the College to assure compliance with federal and institutional policy and regulations. She is primary writer for institutional grant proposals, working with interdisciplinary teams of faculty, staff and students to identify and develop successful applications for foundation, corporate and government grants. 

Dolle has worked in grant administration for over 17 years, including ten years of experience as Information Technology Grant Specialist in the Center for Instruction, Research and Technology and as Senior Research Associate in the Office of Sponsored Programs, both at Indiana State University. She has also worked in retail customer service for a national publishing company and in customer service and research at public libraries in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
