The Education Department's mission is to prepare competent, caring, professional educators within our NCATE accredited program approved by the Indiana Department of Education.

Indiana Teacher Licensure
Students who wish to pursue teacher licensure may enroll in the Teacher Education Program coordinated by the Education Department. The Education Department is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and approved for teacher training by the Office of Educator Licensing and Development (OELD) of the Indiana Department of Education. The Teacher Education Program offers two licensure frameworks established by the OELD: the Revisions for Educator Preparation and Accountability [REPA]; and Rules 2002.
- I would like a bachelor's degree and a teaching license.
- I have a bachelor's degree and would like a teaching license.
- I have a teaching license and would like to add an additional content area to my license.
- I need to renew my teaching license.
Education Certification / Degrees
- I would like a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Mild Intervention Education.
- I would like an associate degree in Education.
- I would like a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
- I would like an Indiana Early Childhood Program Administrator Certificate.
