Future Teachers of America share love of reading
Making a difference in the lives of children is what teachers do across the country every day. Future Teachers of America, a student organization at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC), shared their love of reading with West Vigo Elementary School by reading “The Lorax” by Dr. Seuss.

SMWC crowned Western Equestrian Champions
The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) Western Equestrian team closed out their regular season in style by winning the Zone 7, Region 1 Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Regional Championship on Jan. 28-29, 2012. SMWC’s riders swept the competition, including Ball State University, Butler University, Eastern Illinois University, Indiana University, Parkland College, Purdue University, Purdue-Calumet University, St. Mary's College (Notre Dame) and University of Illinois, all teams from the region or Division I programs.

Student Leadership Summit
