Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) welcomes students from Saint Joseph’s College  (SJC)as part of its Woods’ family as on campus or online students immediately. SWMC offers an expedited admission process for all SJC transferring students.

“The Saint Joseph’s students have a home at The Woods. SMWC is committed to making the student’s transfer experience as seamless as possible,” said Brennan Randolph, vice president for enrollment. “We recognize that this is a difficult time for these students and we will do everything we can to help them achieve their on-time graduation goals.”

The SMWC team will help transferring students build on their educational achievements by designing a plan of study in line with the Catholic education they experienced at SJC. SMWC has several scholarships available and will provide SJC students with an attractive and comparable scholarship package.

Founded by Indiana’s Saint Mother Theodore Guerin, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College has a 177-year legacy as a Catholic college that has embodied a spirit of student-centered academic innovation, faith and leadership. The College expanded its mission to include men in all programs two years ago, becoming a fully coeducational institution.

SMWC empowers students to think critically, engage in lifelong leadership, and effect positive change in a spirit of service and social responsibility. The College is located on a beautiful and majestic campus in west central Indiana and offers 25 majors, delivered both on campus and online. Among the most popular majors are nursing, education, business administration, music therapy and equine.
