Greetings, all!  This is Troy Brownfield, Director of the Honors Program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.  Welcome to the brand-new blog for the Honors Program.  Going forward, I'll use this space to update you on program news, information about the school, and various topics for discussion.  For today, I want to thank you for your interest in the program and The Woods itself and mention one event. 

Our first upcoming event of note will be the Admitted Students Open House/Registration Day on Saturday, April 4th.  This is a terrific event for all incoming freshmen.  For students that have been accepted into the Honors Program, there will be a “sample Honors class” (conducted by me and some guests) and a special luncheon.   Call 1-800-926-7692 today to make your reservation.  I would urge incoming Honors students to attend; it's a great chance to begin building those connections for the fall.
