SMWC Chorale and Madrigals present American Bandstand Pops Concert

The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) Chorale and Madrigals will present their annual choral Pops Concert at 8 p.m. on Nov. 1, in the Cecilian Auditorium of the SMWC Conservatory of Music building. The theme for this year’s concert is “American Bandstand,” and the Chorale and Madrigals, under the direction of R. Ryan Endris, visiting assistant professor of music, will perform some of the greatest hits in American pop music culture.
Tickets for the concert are general admission and may be purchased at the door. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $2 for students, children, and senior citizens. The Music and Theatre Department at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College offers bachelor’s degree programs in music, music education, music therapy and women and theatre. The College also offers a master’s degree program in music therapy. The music programs at The Woods are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. The music therapy programs are approved by the American Music Therapy Association, and the music education program is approved by the Indiana Department of Education.
