SMWC welcomes largest incoming class since 2003

On Thursday, Aug. 21, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College welcomed 121 new students to its undergraduate campus-based program. This is the College’s largest incoming class since Fall 2003. The group includes 101 freshmen, 19 transfer students and one international student.
The freshman and transfer students come from 16 states, including 89 from Indiana, 15 from Illinois, three from Missouri, two from Ohio and one student each from Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Oregon and Wisconsin. The one matriculating international campus student is from Vietnam.
SMWC also has 10 international visiting students this year, including three from Shirayuri University in Japan, two from Providence University in Taiwan, four from Sungshin University in South Korea and one from Saint Patrick’s College in Ireland.
