Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College has several types of facilities available for public rental. Whether you are planning a conference, seminar, wedding, family reunion, dance, summer camp, or meeting, Conferences and Non-Credit Programs can help you with your facility needs. Wireless internet access is available throughout campus. All events are catered through Sodexo Catering.

Presidents Room
Bookcase lined, wood-paneled room with parquet floors and marble fireplace.

Formal Parlor
Small, elegant room with chandelier lighting and an inglenook fireplace is perfect for a quiet, creative meeting or small reception.

Guerin Rotunda/Interior Garden
The Guerin Hall rotunda and interior garden are ideal for small weddings, receptions, and reunions. Small gatherings of 50 to 100 guests are perfect for this space. Spaces can be rented together or separately.

Each of the meeting rooms located in Rooney Library has the technology resources for professional presentations using your own laptop or our computers. When setting up your event, please let us know if you will need the technology resources. Advanced set-up is recommended.

Meeting Room I
Also known as the Faculty Lounge, this large meeting space is perfect for presentations or meetings to large groups. Conference tables may be arranged in a variety of ways to meet your needs. Room is equipped with smart technology allowing for interactive presentations, large projection screen, theatre-style sound system, and wireless Internet.

Alumnae Board Room
Located on the second floor of Rooney Library, this room accommodates 24 people at a large conference table or smaller groups at a circular board table.

Meeting Room II
Located on the third floor of Rooney Library, this room will comfortably seat 50 people. The ability to divide the space into two areas makes it perfect for small break-out group meetings.

SMWC classrooms are perfect when you need a small meeting area. Most classrooms can be arranged for either individual or group seating and come equipped with the technology needed for electronic presentations.

Cecilian Auditorium
Cecilian is a beautiful theatre with proscenium stage, stage curtains, and spot and stage lighting.

Hayes Auditorium
Designed as a large lecture hall, Hayes Auditorium seats 220 people at individual chairs/desks. The seating is raked making sightlines clear for the audience.

Woods Conference Center
Small conference center consisting of one main room with adjoining kitchen/dining area and two classrooms. Between the classrooms and the main room is a small lounge and restroom.

Art Gallery
Art Gallery featuring movable pedestals, spot lights, and carpeted walls for easy hanging of art work. Gallery has outside entrance to a patio area as well as an indoor entrance.

Guest House
Small groups return to us year after year requesting the 20 room campus Guest House. They enjoy living in cozy comfort together as they celebrate a reunion, work on writing projects, study religious issues and the like. There are kitchenette facilities enabling groups to bring snacks and breakfast items, have other meals catered by Sodexo Food Services, or they can join the campus community for meals in our majestic O’Shaughnessy Dining Hall.

Resident Hall Rooms
In summer months large groups can come together in our beautiful Le Fer Hall. A residence hall during the academic year, Le Fer can accommodate summer groups overnight of up to 150 people in air conditioned comfort. Perfect accommodations for conferences, seminars, retreats, and family reunions.
