Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College has multiple high-capacity event venues available for speakers, theatrical events and other large-audience gatherings.
Speaker, seminar, and theatrical event venues
- Le Fer Hall offers a grand ballroom that can be set up to accommodate a speaker or seminar-style event.
- Hulman Hall offers an auditorium with a capacity for over 200 guests.
- The Conservatory of Music offers a grand auditorium with full stage, lighting and sound system with a capacity for over 700 guests.

Beauty and Melody
The Woods received a taste of Chinese culture with a moving musical celebration by Beauty & Melody, an all-female ensemble from the Sichuan Province. The ensemble came to Terre Haute through collaboration between Arts Midwest World Fest, Arts Illiana and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.
Jeanne White-Ginder
Jeanne White-Ginder, mother of Ryan White and national advocate for people living with HIV and AIDS, shared her personal experiences with the community. Ryan, who contracted HIV through blood-based products, gained international notoriety fighting for his right to attend school.
Mikado
With colorful costumes and elaborate sets, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College students performed the Japanese comic opera in two acts. The work has been translated into numerous languages and is one of the most frequently played musical theatre pieces in history.
Jean M. Wilkowski
Retired U.S. diplomat and the first woman to be appointed U.S. Ambassador to Africa, Jean M. Wilkowski, rose in the ranks from Vice Consul at a small post in the Caribbean to the top rank of U.S. Ambassador in charge of an overseas mission. Wilkowski is a 1941 graduate of the College.
