Indiana Grants for Education
The state of Indiana is committed to making college affordable for Hoosiers. Indiana residents may be eligible for need-based awards to help offset the cost of a college education.
To be eligible for a Indiana state grant, students must:
- be a resident of Indiana
- be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- be a high school graduate or hold a GED
- attend or plan to attend an eligible college or university
- be enrolled, or plan to enroll, in a course of study leading to an associate's or first bachelor's degree (degree seeking student)
- be a full-time student, or plan to enroll as a full-time student (at least 12 credit hours per term). Half-time students (6-11 credit hours per term) can qualif for a part-time grant.
- file the FAFSA before March 10th
- file corrections to the FAFSA by June 10th
