Students with Disabilities
Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College is committed to providing reasonable and appropriate accommodations to students with documented disabilities in order to afford them an equal opportunity to participate in College programs, courses and activities
In order for the College to assist students with disabilities under the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, both students who have been accepted for enrollment and current students must:
- Provide formal documentation (from a medical and/or psychological services provider) of their disabilities to the Admission Office (accepted students) or to the ADA Advisor (current students)
- Meet with the ADA Advisor to discuss requested accommodations and to obtain a letter from the College stipulating accommodations that may be provided
- Present this letter to instructors when requesting specific accommodations
Further details of the Students with Disabilities Policy and Procedures are available from the Office of Admission or in the Student Handbook. You may also contact the ADA Advisor, Kimberly LaComba, via email.
