News | 02.02.2022

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) was again listed in the Best Online Programs rankings by U.S. News & World Report released in January.

SMWC was one of just nine colleges in Indiana to be listed in the bachelor’s rankings and one of three Indiana private colleges.

“I am proud that Woods Online is once again listed in the U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs,” said Janet Clark, Ph.D., provost and vice president for academic and student affairs. “It is a true testament to our faculty who continue to work hard to keep our online students engaged and provide an excellent learning experience.”

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College has been offering distance learning for almost 50 years, and Woods Online (WOL) is the second oldest program in the country. The College and its WOL program have been leaders and innovators in college online learning. SMWC has 21 bachelor’s programs offered online, including the popular degree programs of music therapy equivalency, education, human resource management and psychology.

There are several start dates for Woods Online, including August, October, January and March. Classes are designed in an eight-week format to help students complete their degrees quickly.
