Founded in Faith, Driven by Values
A Catholic education, Nuns not included
Saint Mary-of-the-Woods was founded in faith by Saint Mother Theodore Guerin more than 180 years ago. Today, we let her values be our guide. You don’t have to be Catholic, or even Christian, to attend The Woods, but you can’t help but feel the spirituality of the place.
- Just in case you are Catholic, you might want to check out our Catholic Faith Scholarship. And if you need a little more motivation, how about up to $20,000 a year? Yeah, it’s worth taking a look.
- Success is not just a buzz word here. We have tutoring, learning centers and writing centers. But the best part is that they are free and unlimited. We want to remove all the barriers to getting help and succeeding.
- Small class sizes, a culture of success, a history of innovation and commitment to developing the whole person makes SMWC unique amongst its peers and one of the best private colleges in the Midwest.
