Celebrate your Catholic faith

Scholarship up to $20,000

The Catholic Faith Scholarship was created to celebrate SWMC’s Catholic heritage. To receive this scholarship, students must:

  • Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 or higher and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 at SMWC to renew the award for a total of 8 semesters.
  • Enroll as a full-time student (12 credit hours or more per semester).
  • Be a degree-seeking student in the campus program.
  • Attend a Catholic high school or church. Statement from high school or church official verifying enrollment/attendance and a brief statement recommending the student for this award.
  • Self identify “religion” as Catholic on the SMWC application to the school.

Awards

There are two tiers to the Catholic Faith Scholarship.

  • Tier I = up to $20,000
  • Tier II = up to $16,000 (commuter)
