It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year. Perhaps your favorite family traditions are coming up.
This season, a season of gratitude and giving, often shows how blessed we are as individuals; however, it also shows how blessed our institution, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, is. As Advancement Officer at SMWC, I’ve been witness to the generosity of so many. This experience dates back to my days as a student at The Woods – how the kindness of alumni and donors impacted me and my journey. To witness the numerous students impacted today by the generosity of thousands of alumni and friends is incredible.
It’s often hard to get caught up in the chaos our society brings, but as the holiday season approaches, I encourage you to reflect and remember all the wonderful things you have to be grateful for. This time of the year gives us a chance to say thank you in more than words – in support that fuels academic dreams, hopes and futures.
Your generosity and support truly make a difference. Your kindness moves our mission forward. Your gratitude becomes an opportunity for someone else.
From all of us at SMWC, thank you for being part of this season with us. Thank you for letting your heart lead, for remembering what matters most and for choosing to make an impact that lasts well beyond the holidays.
