Amanda grew up in Peru, IN where her love of music developed at a young age. She attended Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and graduated with a BS in music therapy in 2006. Upon receiving her music therapy board certification, she began clinical work in Fishers, IN at Opportunities for Positive Growth (OPG). During her 10 years at OPG, Amanda worked with adults and children with developmental disabilities and autism.

On top of her clinical work, she began a national roster internship site, and taught numerous music therapy interns. In 2013, Amanda graduated from Ball State University with a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with emphasis in autism. In 2016, Amanda began teaching as an adjunct faculty for the MTED program, got married, and had a baby. After a year off, she is currently branch director for Help at Home, LLC. When she is not working, she likes to work on her tiny house or go for walks with her husband and daughter Kala.
