Eighty-seven Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) student-athletes have been named 2024-2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
This prestigious honor recognizes student-athletes across fall, winter and spring sports who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement. To qualify, recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport and have completed at least one full year at their institution.
The award encompasses several fall, winter and spring championship sports, including football, men’s cross country, men’s soccer, women’s cross country, women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, men’s basketball and women’s basketball.
