Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) is proud to announce an exciting update to its Master of Leadership Development (MLD) program. Beginning with the August cohort, students will have the opportunity to specialize in one of two dynamic concentrations: Organizational Leadership or Psychology of Leadership.

These revised concentrations reflect SMWC’s commitment to providing relevant, forward-thinking education that rises to the challenge of the evolving needs of today’s professionals, whether they are emerging or seasoned leaders.
“We are excited about both concentrations and the opportunities they offer our students to deepen their understanding of leadership philosophy in both theory and practice,” said Eric Hubbard, Ph.D., director of master’s programs in business and leadership. “These options are designed to align with the goals of career-minded individuals seeking to lead with purpose and impact.”
The Organizational Leadership concentration delivers a comprehensive exploration of how individuals and systems interact within organizations. With a strong emphasis on ethical business practices, global awareness and effective management, this track prepares students to lead with integrity in diverse and complex environments.
The Psychology of Leadership concentration focuses on the human side of leadership. Students will examine psychological principles, including emotional intelligence, values-based leadership, conflict resolution and team dynamics. This concentration equips graduates to navigate organizational change and foster inclusive, high-performing workplace cultures.
Applications are now open for the August start. To learn more or apply, visit smwc.edu/MLD or contact the Office of Admissions at admissions@smwc.edu.
