1. Why did you choose SMWC?
I chose Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College because of the community. When you’re put into a small community such as The Woods, you feel the support, not just from the staff and alumni, but also from the students and friends you make. It’s a wonderful community and I am proud to call it my family.
2. Why did you choose your major?
I chose my major because of the influence Dr. Rob had on me. His passion and drive to teach inspired me to be like him and to help students learn and build their futures.
3. What is your favorite place on campus?
The center of the fourth floor in Le Fer is my favorite place because the community always gathers, loves to chat and just enjoy each other’s company during late-night study sessions.
4. What is a favorite memory you have from your Woods experience?
My favorite experience from SMWC was when our 4 x 400 meter track and field team won first place at the River States Conference Outdoor Championships. That was truly a special moment for me and the guys.
5. How do you plan to stay connected to SMWC after graduating?
I plan to help out wherever I can through supporting the College in any way. Whether it’s through donations or carrying the experiences and support this college has shown me, I plan to build my own community built on the life I have had at this wonderful College.
