Campus Program Scholarships
All students are automatically considered for academic scholarships when they are reviewed for admission to the College. No separate application is required for merit-based scholarships.
Recommendation forms and additional materials are required for the Top Ten on 10 Scholarship and the Saint Mother Theodore Guerin Scholarship as these are scholarship competitions.
Top Ten on 10 Scholarships
Up to $20,000.
Saint Mother Theodore Guerin Scholarships
Up to $20,000.
Merit Scholarships for Freshmen

Awards range from $5,000 - $11,000.
Merit Scholarships for Transfer Students
Merit Scholarships for campus transfer students. Awards range from $2,000 - $11,000 per year
Ivy Tech Grants
For Ivy Tech graduates continuing their education at SMWC.
Phi Theta Kappa
$11,000 award for qualifying members of the National Phi Theta Kappa organization.
"Pomeroy" Athletic Scholarships
Award amounts vary, renewable with Athletic Director's recommendations.
Based on athletic team needs and applicant's talent.
Visual or Performing Arts Scholarship
Awards up to $10,000
Retention Grants
Award amounts vary.
Alumnae Tuition Grant
$750, renewable.
For direct relatives of SMWC graduates or current students.
Twenty-First Century Scholars
In addition to Indiana state award, SMWC will cover room and board costs.
Starfish Initiative Award
In addition to the Indiana state award, SMWC will cover room and board costs for eligible students.
Vigo County Catholic Student Scholarship
$11,000 /yr.
Cristo Rey Network Scholarship
Award amount $11,000 (Cristo Rey Network students only).
Guerin High School Scholarships
Up to $20,000.
Guerin College Preparatory High School (Chicago) and Guerin Catholic High School (Indianapolis) Scholarships will be awarded to any female student who enrolls in the campus program at SMWC.
Indianapolis Metropolitan High School Scholarship
Up to $11,000.
Frankfort Area Alumnae Club Scholarship
$11,000 Per Year.
Military / Veteran Spouse Grant
$3,000 Grant awarded (for full-time enrollment) to the spouse of military service members who have served on active duty or are currently serving in the reserves, renewable yearly for duration of degree program. (documentation required in the form of DD-214 or NOBE).
September 11th Scholarship Fund
Award amount - $20,000
Immediate family members of those killed or seriously injured and permanently disabled in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, or United Airlines Flight 93 will receive a full tuition scholarship.
