1. Why did you choose SMWC?
I chose SMWC because it is an outstanding institution with dedicated professors who genuinely care about the success of every student. The College’s strong commitment to student achievement sets it apart as this level of support can be difficult to find at other schools.
2. Why did you choose your major?
I chose Nursing because I feel called by God to care for those in need. This sense of purpose has been placed heavily on my heart, and it guides my commitment to serving others. My sister, an SMWC graduate and registered nurse, has also been a constant source of inspiration and following in her footsteps has strengthened my passion for this profession!
3. What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is the Shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin, as it serves as a meaningful reminder of the College’s origins. It allows students to feel a deep sense of pride while providing the opportunity to learn more about the life and legacy of our founder.
4. What is a favorite memory you have from your Woods experience?
My favorite memory at The Woods was the opportunity to build lifelong friendships with people I may never have met if it weren’t for SMWC. Over the past three years, I have truly cherished every aspect of my experience here. My time at The Woods has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I could not recommend this college more highly.
5. How do you plan to stay connected to SMWC after graduating?
After graduating, I plan to stay connected through the traditions that make The Woods so special. The Ring will always serve as a reminder of the hard work, growth and community I experienced here. I also hope to stay engaged as an alum by keeping in touch with classmates, supporting fellow Woods graduates and carrying forward the values instilled in me during my years at SMWC!
