How MAMT Works
The M.A. in Music Therapy program is designed especially for music therapists who want a program that fits their busy lives. The program delivery is hybrid, with students attending on-campus residencies twice per year and virtual residencies once per year. Preparative and follow-up work which surround these residencies allow coursework to be completed at home through online classes with faculty guidance and ongoing interaction with both peers and faculty.
The fall residencies are 3-4 days on campus. Spring residencies are 3 days and are virtual (online). Summer residencies are 6 days on campus. Residencies allow for collaborative learning and community building with faculty and fellow students.
