A master’s degree in nursing with a family nurse practitioner concentration empowers you to a rewarding career making an even bigger impact on people’s lives.

If you have already started taking graduate courses and are not sure what credits may transfer, we will do a transcript evaluation and advise you through the process. Be sure to submit the graduate transcript with your application.

Applications are now being accepted for the August cohort. The priority application deadline is April 1st, but applications will continue to be received through July as space permits.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 / 4.0 or higher on any undergraduate work
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 / 4.0 or higher on any graduate work
  • Must have current unencumbered license as a registered nurse

Application Requirements

In order to apply for the Master of Science in Nursing degree program, you must submit the following:

  • Completed online application
  • Official transcript of all collegiate work (baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university)
  • Two letters of recommendation from individuals knowledgeable of your professional or academic experience.
  • A current résumé
  • Personal career statement (limit 500 words)
  • Must pass a background check or provide a current background check

International Application Requirements

  • College transcripts. Course-by-course transcript evaluations, translated in English and converted to a US grading scale, must be requested by WES, World Education Services, wes.org, or ECE, Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc, ece.org.
  • Official TOEFL scores (We require a minimum score of 62 for the internet based test and 500 on the paper based test). Other English proficiency tests may be accepted and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
