Applicants to the Ph.D. in Global Leadership program must have a master’s degree (3.0 GPA or higher) and submit the following materials to be considered for the program:

  • Application
  • Application fee of $50 (non-refundable)
  • Official transcripts from all educational institutions attended
  • Two professional letters of recommendation
  • Resume/CV
  • Personal letter of interest (1,000-2,000 words)

Additional Requirements for International Applicants

  • Applicants must have a minimum score of 550 on the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a minimum score of 80 if taking the internet-based TOEFL test. Or
  • As an alternative to the TOEFL, applicants may submit a score of at least 6.5 on the IELTS exam.

Applicants who attended schools outside the United States are required to submit course-by-course transcript evaluations, translated in English and converted to a US grading scale, and must be requested by WES, World Education Services, wes.org, or ECE, Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc, ece.org. If you have not completed your master’s degree at the time of application, you must submit a current transcript. Upon degree completion, you are required to provide official transcripts in a sealed envelope directly from the institution that awarded your degree prior to enrollment.
