1. Why did you choose SMWC?
I chose SMWC because of its close-knit campus community and welcoming atmosphere. The campus itself is one of the most beautiful I have seen, and being here makes me feel like a valued member of a family rather than just a student.

2. Why did you choose your major?
I chose nursing not for the title or financial reward, but because of the joy and fulfillment it brings me. There is nothing more meaningful than hearing a patient laugh after a difficult time or seeing them smile when they had felt little reason to do so. To me, patients are not just individuals in my care—they are someone’s loved one and they deserve the highest level of compassion and dedication. My goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of every patient I encounter.

3. What is your favorite place on campus?
Le Fer Lake is one of my favorite places on campus. The way the sunlight reflects off the water creates a calming atmosphere and gives me a deep sense of peace.

4. What is a favorite memory you have from your Woods experience?
My favorite experience at The Woods is Ring Day. I have looked forward to this tradition since the moment I first heard about it. While the day includes long speeches, and the anticipation of waiting on stage can feel overwhelming, the moment the ring is placed on your hand brings an incredible sense of relief, joy and accomplishment.

5. How do you plan to stay connected to SMWC after graduating?
After graduation, I plan to return to complete my Master of Science in Nursing, but I am equally drawn back by the beauty and sense of peace the campus provides. Not only have the professors shaped me into the person I am today but the atmosphere has also played a significant role in my growth.
