The Covered Bridges of Indiana

Cross slowly “at a walk” when you visit several of Indiana’s 32 covered bridges in Parke County, The Covered Bridge Capital of the World. You will learn the history and future of these national treasures. Study their construction methods and meet the engineers who work to restore them and volunteers who maintain them. Enjoy the legends, the folklore, and the music that these bridges have inspired. While visiting the bridges; trips to the nationally known Covered Bridge Festival are planned. Sample Indiana country cooking and visit various Hoosier country sites.
