Learning Resource Center

SMWC provides a wide range of academic support services for all students through the Learning Resource Center, located in LeFer Hall, room 148. No appointment is needed, walk-ins are welcome!

Academic Support Team

The Academic Support Team is a one-on-one partnership between designated, experienced faculty members and individual students in need of additional academic support.

CLEP and Standardized Testing

The Learning Resource Center offers CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) testing and help with other standardized tests including the Praxis, Praxis II, Plato Online.

Links providing valuable academic support in a variety of subject areas, including writing, grammar, literary analysis, math, science, history and more.

Tutoring

The Learning Resource Center offers individualized peer tutoring on a wide variety of topics. If you're having trouble with a course ask us for help!

Writing Assistance

Campus-based and WED students may receive help in a variety of written and oral communication categories. Students wanting help with writing are encouraged to schedule an appointment, however walk-ins are still welcome.
