MSL Overview
Students enrolled in the Master of Sport Leadership (MSL) program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College are working adults seeking to advance their education and unlock new career opportunities. Taught by experienced faculty in business and leadership, this program offers an engaging and practical learning experience. With more than 50 years of experience in distance and online education, SMWC is committed to exceeding expectations. This immersive, online program can be completed in just one year, providing the flexibility needed to balance work, life and learning. New cohorts begin every January and August.
About the MSL
The MSL program enables students to acquire the skills necessary to navigate an evolving global sports landscape. The online curriculum aligns with the mission of SMWC by incorporating innovative professional development and career readiness initiatives.
Program Highlights
With a 100% online learning environment, the MSL program at SMWC is unique. Here are some reasons why you’ll want to join the cohort:
Students take two classes each 8-week term to finish the program in one year; students may take one course per term, expecting to finish the program in two years
The program is offered 100% online. There is little disruption in day-to-day life as a working adult.
No residencies! We understand that it can be difficult to find time to further one’s education as a working adult. With the elimination of residencies, SMWC allows for a worry-free experience.
No GMAT required! Applicants have the option to submit GMAT scores in the event that their GPA or work experience do not meet the admission criteria.
Receive personal support from faculty. With our small class sizes, students get as much support from professors as they need. They want students to have a successful academic journey!
