A Master’s in Business Administration will give you the necessary tools to excel in your career field. With no residencies required in a virtual immersive all-online format, you can complete your MBA from anywhere in the world! No GMAT required

Students will be able to choose either the MBA, or the MBA with a concentration in Global Leadership or Healthcare Administration. The concentrations will add an additional six months to the program. For Financial Aid to cover the additional courses of the concentration, the concentration, must be selected at the time of enrollment.

Admission Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university (does not have to be in business)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 / 4.0 or higher on any undergraduate work
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 / 4.0 or higher on any graduate work
  • Two years of work experience in your field (does not have to be in business administration)

To apply for the MBA program, please submit the following:

  • Completed online application
  • Official college transcripts sent directly to us from all educational institutions attended
  • 1000-2000 word essay describing your interest in the MBA program
  • One letter of recommendation from those who can assess your professional or academic experience
  • Resume

GMAT Test Optional: An applicant is not required to take the GMAT test. Applicants may strengthen their application if they do not meet the GPA requirement or the two-year work experience guidelines by taking the GMAT and submitting scores. This is optional. Students who have a deficiency in statistics will be required to take a placement test.

International Application Requirements

  • College transcripts. Course-by-course transcript evaluations, translated in English and converted to a US grading scale, must be requested by WES, World Education Services, wes.org, or ECE, Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc, ece.org. If the applicant has not completed their degree at the time of application, they must submit a current transcript. Upon degree completion, applicants are required to provide official transcripts, translated as noted above, in a sealed envelope directly from the awarding institution.
  • Official TOEFL scores (required minimum score of 80 for the internet-based test and 550 on the paper-based test). Other English proficiency tests may be accepted and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. SMWC’s TOEFL code is RA1704. As an alternative to the TOEFL, applicants may submit a score of 6.5 or higher on the IELTS exam.
