The concert is held in conjunction with the Vigo County Public Library and the “Community Read” program which is the aforementioned book by Andy Weir. The book was made into a motion picture in 2015 with Matt Damon portraying the principal role of Mark Watney. Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun will be the narrator/MC for the concert.
