“Dr. Behrs has been remarkably engaged with faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the college. His passion and enthusiasm has increased our sense of community and institutional pride,” said King. “I will continue the strong foundation he set forth to provide a world-class liberal arts education for our students.”

As vice president for academic affairs, King is responsible for promoting excellence in teaching and scholarship as well as close student-faculty interactions in all of the College’s academic programs. In addition, she provides leadership for academic departments and interdisciplinary programs in curricular, personnel, and budgetary matters.
