Students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College are working adults seeking to advance their education and unlock new career opportunities. Taught by experienced faculty in business and leadership, this program offers an engaging and practical learning experience. With more than 50 years of experience in distance and online education, SMWC is committed to exceeding expectations. This immersive, online program can be completed in just one year, providing the flexibility needed to balance work, life and learning. New cohorts begin every January and August.

To be a leader of academic excellence in providing a graduate-level business administration degree in an immersive virtual format, engrained with ethical values, while delivering supportive and individualized global experiences to each learner.

Students may pursue the general MBA or choose to add a concentration to further focus their studies. Each concentration required an additional 12 credit hours and, in order to be eligible for financial aid, must be added prior to the completion of the degree. Stand-alone concentrations are not eligible for financial aid. With several concentrations available, students can tailor their MBA to align with their personal and professional goals. With a 100% virtual immersive online learning environment, the MBA program at SMWC is unique. Here are some reasons why you’ll want to join the cohort:

Students take two classes each 8-week term to finish the program in one year; students may take one course per term, expecting to finish the program in two years

The program is offered 100% virtual immersive online. There is little disruption in your day-to-day life as a working adult.

No residencies! We understand that it can be difficult to find time to further your education as a working adult. With the elimination of residencies, SMWC allows you a worry-free experience.

Immersive experiences: Students have the opportunity to engage in leadership conferences, guest lecturers, study abroad opportunities, virtual poster show, etc.

No GMAT required! Applicants have the option to submit GMAT scores in the event that their GPA or work experience do not meet the admission criteria.

Receive personal support from faculty. With our small class sizes, you’ll get as much support from your professors as you need. They want you to succeed on your academic journey!

This format is designed for working professionals who want to broaden their global and business mindset and gain the confidence to lead with distinction.
