How much does it cost to attend a C.A.M.P. session in June?
The cost is $250, which includes continental breakfast and lunch on campus. It also covers an evening meal on Thursday, as well as all programming costs and field trips during on-campus C.A.M.P. at The Woods. If financial assistance is needed, please contact us at Kim.LaComba@smwc.edu
What meals are provided?
Each day, a continental breakfast and snacks will be provided in the classroom and lunch in the dining hall. Dinner will be provided Thursday evening to all attending the evening event.
What is the schedule like each day?
7:30 – 7:50 AM – Continental breakfast in the classroom
8:00 – 8:50 AM – Tours of campus and other facilities nearby
9:00 – 11:30 AM – C.A.M.P. Course Session 1
11:30 – 12:30 PM – Lunch in Doherty Dining Hall
12:30 – 3:00 PM – C.A.M.P. Course Session 2
3:00 – 3:30 PM – Break
3:30 – 5:00 PM – Meet with SMWC C.A.M.P. counselors in cohort groups / Challenge Activities
How many students attend C.A.M.P. at The Woods?
Ten students per C.A.M.P. course.
Do I need to stay for the entirety of the program?
Yes! All students are required to stay through the entire week and until 5 p.m. each day. The program will conclude by 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
What if I need medical services during the week?
The C.A.M.P. student counselor will contact the program director to contact the emergency contact and assess the situation. If considered an emergency, the program director will take the student to Union Hospital and contact the emergency contact.
