Associate's into Bachelor's in Two Years
Turn your Ivy Tech associate degree into a bachelor degree in two years: These transfer agreements, referred to as "2+2 agreements," allow students to attend their first two years of college at Ivy Tech to earn an Associate of Science degree, then transfer into a specific campus-based or distance-based Bachelor's degree program at SMWC as a junior without losing credits or needing to take extra semesters.
Your entire associate degree will seamlessly transfer into our bachelor degree programs -- allowing you to complete a bachelor's degree in as little as two years.
$3,000 Grant
Ivy Tech Grads may be eligible for a $3,000 grant: Scholarships are available for Ivy Tech students continuing their education at SMWC. If you've recently graduated from Ivy Tech Community College you are likely eligible to receive a $3,000 grant to continue your education at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College is committed to ensuring that students transferring from Ivy Tech experience a seamless transition as they pursue their academic goal of completing their bachelor's degree. SMWC accepts a minimum of 30 credits from Ivy Tech's General Education Core, with the remaining nine Woods Core credits completed at SMWC. Learn more about The Woods Core.
The Woods Core will be implemented beginning with the 2013-14 academic year. During this transition time, all transcripts will be reviewed individually, case-by-case, to ensure the smoothest transition possible to SMWC. Individual academic program transfer credits will be reviewed on an individual basis as well.
