Parking and Traffic Regulations
- Parking is available in designated areas.
- Handicapped parking is available at the northeast entrance of Le Fer Hall and in front of Les Bois.
- Unloading and loading zones are near all Le Fer Hall entrances and Les Bois’s main entrance.
On Campus Shuttles
Golf cart transportation is available throughout the weekend to accommodate guests who need assistance. This includes transportation to and from the Reunion banquet and other major Reunion events. Note: The golf carts are intended to help guests who need assistance getting from one location to another on campus. They are not a general shuttle service. There will not be handicap accessible shuttle service available.
Transportation
SMWC does not provide transportation to or from the campus. If you need a ride to or from campus, you may use ride-sharing services such as Uber or Lyft, or you may rent a car from one of two rental car facilities in Terre Haute:
By Air
The closest airport to SMWC is Indianapolis International Airport.
By Car
From I-70 (traveling east or west)
Take Exit 3: Darwin Road. Proceed north on Darwin Road to National Ave. Turn right on National Ave. and proceed to U.S. 150 in West Terre Haute. Turn north (left) on U.S. 150 (at a stop light) and go two miles to Saint Mary’s Road and the sign for Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Turn left on Saint Mary’s Road. Proceed to the main entrance (second gate) and turn right on The Avenue.
From State Road 63 (traveling south)
Turn west on Bolton Road (approx. 9 miles south of Clinton, IN). Proceed to U.S. 150, turn left. Follow U.S. 150 down the hill to Saint Mary’s Road (do not turn to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College School of Equine Studies). Turn right onto Saint Mary’s Road. Proceed to the main entrance (second gate) and turn right on The Avenue.
