Indiana Regional JSHS
Teacher Award
The teacher of the 1st place winner gets $500 for classroom supplies.
National JSHS
- 1st Place National Finalist - $16,000 scholarship
- 2nd Place National Finalist - $6,000 scholarship
- 3rd Place National Finalist - $2,000 scholarship
There are 6 categories at the National competition. The top 5 Regional winners will travel to the National JSHS (www.jshs.org) as the Indiana delegation. The 1st and 2nd place Regional winners will complete for the 18 National scholarships. The 3rd place winner will be presenting a poster at a separate competition at Nationals. The National Junior Science & Humanities Symposium (JSHS) will be hosted by Headquarters, Department of the Army, Assistant Secretary of the Army and held in Bethesda, Maryland.
International JSHS
The 6 first place winners will travel to the international Junior Science and Humanities Symposium where they will compete for the final awards.
